“Dogs are our link to paradise. They don’t know evil or jealousy or discontent. To sit with a dog on a hillside on a glorious afternoon is to be back in Eden, where doing nothing was not boring- it was peace.”
TCSPCA WISH LIST
What is a Potcake?
"Potcake" is the Bahamian term for the thick, leftover food that remains in the bottom of a pot of peas 'n' rice after several reheatings. Traditionally, Bahamians fed potcake to the indigenous dogs, hence the dogs have ocme to be known as Potcakes with a capital 'P'. Our beloved Potcakes are desenced from these dogs which travelled here with their Bahamian families.

The donations of TCSPCA supporters recently allowed us to aquire a new, badly needed van to help us reach out to pet owners used mainly in Providenciales, this van recently was packed full and ferried over to South Caicos to support the recent spay/nuter clinic in May 2015
I shall pass through this world but once. Any good, therefore, that I can do or any kindness that I can show to any fellow creature, let me do it now. Let me not defer or neglect it for I shall not pass this way again.
